I grew up playing the old Atari game system just like everyone else my age and of course by the time Nintendo came out I was well over video games. After all when you work who has time for games right? My kids however did have Nintendo game system for the simple fact that they were kids and every child needs a game system to keep them company from time to time. My son came home from school one day though with this bag full of super nintendo video games that he had bought from his friend with his allowance.

He tried to put one in his game system which of course was like trying to put a square peg in a round hole, and as I watched my son’s face turn from a smile to a frown I knew what I had to do. He had the same idea however as he looked up at me with his beautiful blue eyes and said “Hey Dad, can we get a new game system so i can play my super nintendo video games?” I of course couldn’t say no.

I was walking with him the next day directly to the game store and bought his Super Nintendo, and due to the fact that he was only 10 I set it up for him and watched him play for a few minutes. I couldn’t believe the graphics of this new game system. It was like nothing I had ever seen. I as you can probably guess was soon playing his super nintendo video games with him and actually even bought another system for the family room.

Because of my kid and his super nintendo video games I have since bought ever new gaming system that has hit the market and we even though he is in his 20′s now still have a blast with our games. My lovely wife and daughter join in as well. However, when everything is said and done we still go back to the same old super nintendo system and we still remember the day when he looked at me and said “Dad can we get a new game system so I can play my super nintendo video games?”
