The ability to give free gifts to your Farmville friends is one of the niftiest things about Farmville. It costs you nothing more than a small amount of your time and is a wonderful method to strengthen your friendships with neighbors. The recently added “Send Gift” feature enables you to purchase gifts at the Market, providing you a huge selection of possible gifts to send either your friends or other accounts.

Free Gifts

The free gifts that are offered do tend to change based on events and seasons. Then again, there are always a couple different items that will definitely be welcome. You can always send objects that are special and can’t be obtained in another way. Always gift a tree that yields a worthwhile harvest. Visit Farmville Trees to make sure that you’re sending something which is valuable to your friends. During the Christmas event, make sure to give lots of gifts so that your friends will have a great time unwrapping presents on the 24th of December. You’ll get plenty of presents if you give presents each day.

Gifts that Cost Cash or Coin

You can now buy gifts at the Market to send to your friends. This is a relatively new added Farmville feature. You can purchase these items using either Farm Cash or Farm Coin. Some examples are Garden Gnome Scarecrow Gazebo. Help out your friends who can’t manage to pay for a pricey item and keep the goodwill of your neighbors.

Not Spoiled, Gifted!’

You must leave gifts in your Gifts Box until you accumulate a certain number of different gifts to obtain the “Not Spoiled, Gifted” achievement. The blue ribbon will be awarded to you the minute your Gifts Box has 21 different gifts. Make sure you get rid of identical items—use them or sell. You need field space in order to win this ribbon. These identical items only take up the needed space!

Requests

You will generally collect a great number of gifts if you have a lot of neighbors. Not all of these gifts will be ones you hope for—I mean, just how many reindeer can a person really use?? Farmville has anticipated this and permits you to sell extra or unwanted gifts right from your “Gifts” box. You can put a note on your farm to avoid getting unwanted gifts and hopefully people will check it before gifting you. Try to do the same for other players.

Dual Accounts

If you are using two accounts to level up more quickly in Farmville, free gifts can be a great bonus. Send yourself the items each of your two farms needs. If one of your accounts has more coins than other, send yourself the items that your other account can’t manage to pay for. Use common sense and persistence to build up your two farms into enormous plantations.
