Weddings are always a good time to congregate and make up for lost time. But for the newlyweds a wedding is the moment for consolidating a relationship that perhaps started years ago. Marriage is a sacred union between two consenting lovers who pledge to protect; serve and love each other until death separates them. But after the marriage vows are recited the only thing left is the wedding ceremony where the festivities of marriage occur.
When preparing for a wedding it is important to make plans well in advance for the marriage outfits. This will include the satin wedding dress; the outfits for the maid of honor and best man, and all the accompanying outfits for those partaking in the ceremonial dances. If you are planning to get married during a busy holiday period my suggestion would be to get all outfits a month or two in advance. Leaving it until it’s too late can result in you paying more than usual and some stores might also have run out of stocks.
Plan out who is going to speak at the marriage feast and inform such people of your proposals. The maid of honor and the best man must also make their speeches and you can peruse through these to make sure that they are acceptable. All the other people making speeches must be told instead of being caught unawares on the day itself. But you must inform them of the need to keep their speeches short and acceptable.
Invitations for a wedding must always be sent out months before the day. Make sure that the day you have selected stays unchanged because changing the date on the invitations might result in confusion and low attendance. Talk to the bride or bridegroom, or a close family member when you’re drawing up the list as such people would know better who to invite and who not to invite.
Looking your best is somehow an obligation to everyone in attendance. Do your hair on the day of the wedding so that everything looks unspoiled and new. You can even visit a medispa for the best skin care. You must remember that this will be one of the best moments in your life so looking brilliant must be your goal.
Sound equipment must be catered for. This can be a D. J or even a live band that are invited to brace the ceremony. But you must speak to the D. J or musicians so that they play specifically what you want and in the exact manner you want it played. You will also need a cameraman to record the festivities on camera so that you can play it back after the wedding is gone and passed.
A wedding is incomplete without the wedding cake. A perfectly selected wedding cake is one that the bride and the bridegroom choose together. A nice romantic cake works wonders if not magic.
