Does The Linden Method Work?
Charles Linden created The Linden Method as a way to overcome the severe anxiety and panic that he had been suffering from since he was a child. As well as anxiety and panic he also suffered from agoraphobia and OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). He discovered that they all had the same common cause and he was able to eliminate all of his anxiety issues with the method that is now available to everybody called The Linden Method.
The success of The Linden Method has been phenomenal with well over 100,000 people having used it to rid themselves of their panic and anxiety disorders for good. The success of The Linden Method has led to Charles Linden becoming a well known authority in the field of anxiety disorders. Charles regularly contributes to newspapers and magazines and has even had his own “Stress Less” TV series. In the UK The Times newspaper awarded his “Stress Free in 30 Days” book their “must read” seal of approval.

The Linden Method is the product of many years research by Charles Linden involving people who had overcome anxiety disorders and how they did it. He discovered that many of these individuals all had similar stories to tell and it was from these similarities that The Linden Method was developed.
Charles found that all anxiety disorders had the same cause. They are all caused by the amygdala. The amygdala is a small area of the brain that behaves like an on/off switch that turns anxiety on or off. All anxiety disorders are the result of the amygdala getting switched on and getting stuck. The reason why The Linden Method works is because it teaches techniques that result in the amygdala switching itself off. This is the root cause that is behind every single anxiety disorder. So many other anxiety treatments fail all for the same reason that they ignore the root cause that is behind the anxiety. This is the reason for The Linden Methods incredibly high success rate of 96%.
The Linden Method does not require any medication as these only serve to control symptoms and don’t address the root cause of the anxiety. You will be encouraged early on in the program if you are on medication that you don’t need your medicine to get better. Medication suppresses anxious thoughts and emotions but you need to learn to control your anxiety levels for yourself. Anxiety cannot be permanently cured whilst the symptoms are being suppressed by chemicals. I was glad that this topic was covered early in the course as I had suffered severe side effects to drugs and know from my own experience that no lasting good can come from them.
You may think that other anxiety therapies can help you, but whilst using The Linden Method it is advised that you don’t use them as you may become distracted. Switching between different therapies and therapists all the time won’t get you anywhere. You need to stick to something and not get distracted. The Linden Method success speaks for itself and that you should give you the encouragement to stick with it until you get results. If it doesn’t work the first time you try it you need to persevere with it instead of being distracted by some other method. You will just end up using other people’s remedies and methods as a crutch instead of being completely responsible for your own recovery.
The Linden Method can be challenging as it requires you to take complete responsibility for overcoming your anxiety and not rely on anybody else’s comfort and reassurances. Friends and family can impede your recovery if you continue to rely on them for support. For this reason Charles’s wife Elizabeth has written a great chapter on how your partner can best help you without impeding your recovery.
The Linden Method will teach you about diversion which is a technique that you can use to divert your attention away from your anxiety and can prevent a panic attack. You will also learn about how your diet affects your anxiety levels and how changing your diet can make you less anxious.
When you consider how different your life is going to be once you have overcome your panic and anxiety the price of The Linden Method seem a very small price to pay. The Linden Method manual is over 250 pages in length. You also get videos and audio recordings that include interviews with Charles, breathing and relaxation techniques and meditations.
My experiences using The Linden Method have been remarkable and I would definitely recommend it to anybody else who is currently experiencing panic or anxiety disorders.
