Exhart MoleMover #90066 Reviews

I was a little timid about trying this product but it works like a charm. Moles are gone! Be careful when you install! You must use a different steak to create a pilot hole for the MoleMover. You can buy this product with confidence.

I bought this product a year ago, and I have been very pleased with it. In the locations of my yard where I have a mole mover in place I don't have moles. I also got rid of a ground squirrel that was living under my house, and reduced the mouse population around my chicken coop (mice and rats like to burrow too). My neighbors saw how well mine were working, and decided to get their own. However, since they bought twice as many mole movers for their property as I had this forced the moles back into my yard. That in turn forced me to have to buy more mole movers. I now have six of them for a quarter acre lot, and they are working well. The only problem I can see anyone having with this product is that they only work up to 30 square feet. If you have a large lot like I do that can get expensive at over twenty dollars a mole mover. In closing, I read a review that states that they break down after one year. I haven't had that problem yet, but my oldest one just turned a year old.

Trapping for mink control and water vole survival: Identifying key criteria using a spatially explicit individual based model [An article from: Biological Conservation]

Description:
Introduced alien species are the second most important threat to global biodiversity after habitat loss. The American mink Mustela vison has been introduced to several countries and is threatening a number of native species worldwide. We developed a spatially explicit and individual based model as a planning tool to identify key criteria for the implementation of trapping campaigns as a way to control open American mink populations. We first predicted the minimum effort required to reduce populations of mink below a certain threshold and the best time of year in which to trap mink to minimise their numbers. We then employed this methodology to predict the best trapping strategy to ensure the long-term survival of the water vole Arvicola terrestris, one of the species most endangered by the spread of the mink in the UK. We also applied the mink and water vole population models to rationalise a set of observed data in an area of 50x30km in the Upper Thames (UK). The model predicted that it is necessary to remove mink for at least 3months every year and that a mixed strategy of trapping during the mating, late dispersal and winter seasons is best for keeping mink at low densities. Concentrating trapping during the late dispersal and winter seasons is instead best for ensuring the long-term survival of water voles. Targeting immigrating juvenile mink as well as reproductive adults is important. The model also showed that trapping efficiency might be an important factor to consider when choosing periods in which to trap.

The Adventures of Danny Meadow Mouse Reviews

Folks,You have to get ahold of Thorton Burgess Bedtime Story Books. If you're searching for traditional values reading for your youngster, these are the ones. They're written around the turn of the century, (the one we're finishing) and are just good, clean fun. The reading level of these books is pushing 2nd grade if you're youngster is above average, but 3rd graders get the most from them. I read the full 20 volume set (hardcover) and it accelerated my reading comprehension, and my vocabulary three grades beyond my peers because the stories were interesting and very well written. Try them out and you won't be disappointed. Happy reading. A big Thorton Burgess fan.

I grew up in a small New England town and read almost every book in the children's section of the library, though none of the books I read stand out in my memory like the books by Burgess. I have never, in all my 40 years, met another person who has read these books. I would like to encourage all to read his books. They are delightful stories with something for everyone.

The Tale of Master Meadow Mouse
Arthur Scott Bailey (1877-1949) was author of more than forty children's books. Bailey attended St. Albans Academy and graduated in 1896, in a class of only eleven other students. He then went on to the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, where he became involved in a fraternal organization, Sigma Phi. However, he left UVM in 1901 and transferred to Harvard, where he earned his bachelor's degree. In 1904 he travelled to New York City and became an editor for various publishers. Which publishers these were is unknown, with the exception of the Macaulay Company, where he was working in early 1915. Among his most famous works are: Sleepy-Time Tales: The Tale of Frisky Squirrel (1915), Sleepy-Time Tales: The Tale of Peter Mink (1916), Tuck-me-in Tales: The Tale of Jasper Jay (1917), Tuck-me-in Tales: The Tale of Buster Bumblebee (1918), Slumber-Town Tales: The Tale of Henrietta Hen (1921) and Slumber-Town Tales: The Tale of Turkey Proudfoot (1921).

Repellex #10505 Quart Ready-to-Use Vole/Gol Sprayer Reviews

I ordered a 32 oz. container of 10505 Repellex Root Saver Mole, Vole & Gopher Repellent on 6/30/08. The product was shown to be in stock on the Amazon website (it still is) and I was given an estimated delivery date between 7/3 & 7/9/08. When I did not receive the item by 7/9, I called the product supplier (Polstein's Home & Beyond) on 7/10. I was told that the product is NOT IN STOCK and a valid estimated delivery date could not be provided.
I am very dissatisfied that a delivery date was provided that could not be met and that I was not notified that I would have to wait indefinitely for delivery. I believe many customers would not place an order if they knew the item of interest was not in stock. Advertising product availability and providing bogus delivery estimates seems to be intended to obtain a customer purchase commitment and then have the customer wait indefinitely, with no status information from Amazon or the supplier, until the product can be made available.
