Hoover Dam in tilt-shift effect
Posted on July 1, 2010
bit.ly I had the chance to shoot some video at Hoover Dam and thought it would be fun to do a tilt-shift effect on it. Seeing such a monstrous creation look like a toy is cool. I particularly like the second to last shot, which looks down at the Colorado River from atop the dam.

@Antimeasure
Thanks for the comment. It’s funny. Several people have told me that the clip with the people was their favorite. I’m not trying to create any illusion, per se, just show what the Dam’s scenes could look like in this effect. To each his own, I guess.

Good frames, but too laggy. The closeup on the tourists gave the illusion away.
