Better Homes and Gardens New Complete Guide to Gardening has been a trusted resource of information for me for years. The pictures are great, and, although growing requirements for plants differs with the climate, the suggestions are a good starting point for a newly acquired plant.

I’m a master gardener, so I picked up this book eagerly. Unfortunately, although the book is nice to look at, the information it contains is pretty old and in some cases, just mistaken. There are many other books that contain much better research than what is found here.

If you had to have only one gardening book (I know but if you HAD to have only one!) this would be a good choice! Loads of pictures and helpful info!!!
