I believe the review on coffee geek sums it up:
“It is extremely expensive to operate. If you like tall milk based drinks you will need to use at least three pods for the coffee flavor to come through the milk. At $2.25 to $3.00 per drink you can get a cappuccino at your local coffee house. If you are making drinks for two or more you will go through a sleeve of pods with each round of drinks. $40-$50 in pods per month is conservative if you use it daily.”
Plus the fact you are limited to only nespresso cups is absurd…there are limitations on the flavors and if you want to change things up you don’t have much choice.
The water reservoir if far to small if you are using this thing daily.
There is a weird nespresso like cult over these things…if you must go with cups go with K-cup technology atleast your options are far greater as I can find K-cups from hundreds of sources.

I recently purchased the CitiZ Nespresso machine and overall am very pleased with the unit. Fortunately the machine comes with about 13-different flavors of the Nespresso capsules (their proprietary coffee capsules), so I was able to try it out immediately. Machines is easy to use and makes great coffee. So, the next step is to order some more of the espresso flavors I liked the most. Nespresso says their standard shipping is 2-business days. So I ordered on Wednesday morning expecting to receive sometime on Friday. I was skeptical of this claim so I called Nespresso on Thursday morning; they indeed told me that since I ordered on Wednesday morning, the coffee was “guaranteed” to arrive on Friday. Ok, good enough for me but Friday came….Friday went and no coffee arrived. Big bummer since I was hosting a breakfast party for several friends on Saturday and was really looking forward to showing-off my new CitiZ! So I called Nespresso and they told me the coffee was shipped USPS, so they have no way of tracking when it arrives. WHAT!!! You mean you guarantee 2-business days delivery and you have no way of telling where the shipment is located?
I am really hopeful that the folks at Nespresso call me to rectify the current situation with my order and somehow assure me that future orders will arrive as promised (2-business days). I’ve read numerous reviews that say how wonderful their customer service is. I guess I now get the chance to find out.
I’ll try to update this review to keep everyone posted over the next week or so.

I purchased mine last week and I could not be happier. It is like being back in Italy. It makes the perfect cappuccino. I plan on getting one for my mother for christmas.

My mom thought that I was crazy for putting a $350 espresso machine on my registry, but my husband and I love it. We have enjoyed tasting the different capsule blends and deciding which ones we like best. At about 70 cents per cup (with milk or cream and fixin’s) it is much cheaper than going to the local coffee shop and so convenient and easy. It is not the very best espresso coffee I have ever had (I have spent some time in Seattle, Oregon and France) but it is heads above the burned grounds I have payed $4 for before. If you love a cappuccino but know you will not take the time before work to do it the old fashioned way, or if you live at altitude and have had issues with your machine not maintaining pressure, this machine is a definite must!
