The Dogtra 1900NCP Field Star is an extremely compact dog collar.  Keeping your dog in check shouldn’t be too difficult as the electronic training collar has a half mile range.  The fact that it’s waterproof takes its utility to a whole new level.  This means you don’t have to worry about the safety of your dog wearing the collar no matter how fierce the weather gets.  Even though dogs can have individual dispositions, the Dogtra 1900NCP is suitably perfect for all dogs, from full-on to placid.  It is a faultless choice for all breeds and sizes of dogs, whether they are at entry level training up to K-9 status.

The Dogtra 1900NCP has a fully adjustable collar strap which only weighs 7.9oz and will accomodate a dogs neck up to 28″.The adjustable strap will need to be trimmed if you have a smaller pet.  Resizing the collar is fairly straightforward as there is no wiring or antennae inside the collar.  The contact points are made from surgical stainless steel and all the plastic is anti-microbial.  Hence the Dogtra electronic collar can be worn comfortably without irritation for long periods of time.

If well maintained the NiMH battery on the fully rechargeable collar will function well for a good three to five years.  The charge is indicated by the LED light on the collar.  When it’s red and blinking means immediate re-charging is required.  If it is showing amber then the life of the battery is half and green signifies it is fully charged.  The Dogtra 1900NCP Star Series transmitter is very compact and has a weight of only 4.8 oz.    It is equiped with an NiMH battery which is able to be recharged.  As with the collar, the transmitter also shows the specific colours which indicates how much life is in the battery with a LED light.  There are three levels of stimulation i.e. the Nick, the Constant and the Page. Nick sends out a single pulse rapidly.  The constant gives an electrical stimulation until the button is depressed, up to eight seconds.  Page sends out a non-electronic stimulation which helps to reinforce previous training.T  he rheostat dial of the Dogtra 1900NCP transmitter has an easily adjustable stimulation level from 0 to 127.  The rheostat stimulation feature keeps you in full control taking it from low to high without unexpected jumps.  Showing on the LCD screen of the transmitter is the level of battery that is left and the stimulation level.

A complete package of the Dogtra 1900NCP Field Master contains a transmitter, collar, battery charger, splitter cable, test light.  Along with the owners manual which will help you to get started with your dog training, everything else is in a high quality carrying case for ease of transportation.
