I’m not sure the text has been updated since the original copyright in 1954. Certainly the current nutritional advice is at odds with much of what this simplistic book recommends. And it doesn’t even mention exercise! Common sense tells me to take advantage of more recent scientific studies of arthritis.

I can’t give my review, because I haven’t rec’d my books yet. I’ve contacted both sellers. One seller has been extremely helpful, and is resending the book this week. However, I haven’t received a return email from betterworldbooks.

This has been a very frustrating, month long ordeal. I’m anxious to receive the ( 2 ) copies of Arthritis And Common Sense, so I can share the information with people who have arthritis.

I like the book, even though there are things I dont agree with. I’m trying this treatment and hope it wil work. What I ask myself if they’re still in use or they proved wrong presently.

As a young woman in the 1970′s my doctor told me he could not help me with my arthritis. That I should go to the library and get a book called,

Arthritis and Common Sense” by Dale Alexander. I purchased a copy. Followed the plan and was up and about in 6 weeks! I have been able to manage my arthritis for 40 years by following this advice. Now I buy copies and send to my friends that are having a struggle. I always hope and pray that they will get as much benefit from it as I have. I am so glad that it is still available at amazon.com.

I have one thing to add in my experience about taking the codliver oil. If you take it at night on an empty stomach before going to bed, you will not have to deal with belching or burping the fish oil all day. That makes it much more tolerable to take on a daily basis.
